My personal approach for creative good piece of theatre is a group of people can sit together, and one people sit in the middle of the group and tell their own story that they think is the most ridicules story about themselves to the group members, because I think this is a good way for people who are in the same group to get closer, you already told your story that makes you embarrassing to other people, so you will not have fear to be ridicules in the group, you will more open your heart to other people.

We only have one lesson this week, so there is only one opportunity for discussion. The teacher hopes we can show our work to her. After a dress rehearsal, the teacher came to make the first audience of our work. After we finished the performance, the teacher gave us some advice. There is a lack of a peak in our work. As an audience, she does not feel the climax of the work. At the same time, she feels that the character of anxiety is not so obvious. The teacher suggested that we can divide the work into two parts. In the first part, we can let the Maggie talk to the doctor and does not end up well. The role of anxiety can also be divided into two parts. In the first part, anxiety can be fearless because it knows that Maggie will not easily leave it, in the second part it can become particularly nervous because Maggie calls Sam, indicating that Maggie does not need it anymore. The teacher gave me a lot of emotional help.
We recorded the first film in our work this week, because we wanted to give the audience more information, not to ask them to question the film, and to show the tension of Maggie, and to let the audience know about an interrupter Maggie's speech. We finished the recording of the phone, and it was a great help to our rehearsal after the recording was completed, because the actor playing Maggie could rehearse with the recording and rehearse some time to rehearse the recordings, and we need to find a good time in every conversation, so I was particularly happy when we ended the phone. Sound recording。 In addition, three members who didn't take part in the recording rehearsed the tone of the character's speech while helping me with some sentences I didn't understand in English. I think our group has done a lot of important steps this week to relax me a lot.
This week we made some modifications to our script, and we also recorded the beginning and end of Maggie's speech. We recorded two or three times during the recording, and we added different ideas at each recording so that we would have more choices when we finally decided which film to use. We carried out the first rehearsal. We checked some missing errors in the script and made the personalities of the characters more obvious. We tried the light while rehearsing. Our next week's work will focus on recording the phone call between Maggie and her brother Sam and thinking about what props we need on the stage. We also mentioned the clothes that we need to wear in the last performance.
We spent a lot of time writing our script this week. We wrote the basic storyline and added some details on the story line. At the last meeting of the week, we ended up writing our original script, and the three actors read the script, and it is like over ten minutes, and we thought it was very good. After all, it was just the original script, and at the beginning and end, we had two films to play. I think that's the symbol. It meets the requirements of the IB drama. "I am fine" is a name for our work because when people ask you when you are worried, people usually choose to hide their difficulties and say I'm fine.
We started writing the script. We have decided our role, I will play the anxiety, because anxiety has the least of the lines, for me, the line is a challenge, because I am an international student, my English and pronunciation are not particularly good, so I chose fear; and I want to try to act this role, because I have not tried this kind or role before. Anxiety has very mean personality, and I has always been a good person in the eyes of my friends. So I also want to show my bad side to the audience. We list the elements that we need to add to the technology in our work, and we also confirm everyone's responsibility in the group. Annika is the director; Audrey is the creative director; Max is the light designer; Andy is the sound and visual designer, and I am the documenter.
This week we discussed the topic of fear more deeply, and we discussed a lot of fear and unrest, and we found that these fears and uneasiness came from the shadow of childhood, for example, a friend, a prank, or an unintentional apathy of the parents. We created three roles, teenager, fear, and psychiatrist. Our three actors took three different roles in turn because we all had different ideas, so we could bring more ideas to shape the role. We feel that we can create a complete story for fear by using the dialogue between doctor and protagonist. We also need to consider which way we use to express the mood at that time, for example, when it comes to an emotional outburst, we may need to use screaming to express the thoughts of the role. I didn't take part in the last discussion with another actor, but the other three members had some technical problems that were solved on that day. One of the members had experience in the lighting effect, but she was an actor in the work, so she taught the other member how to use the light. I think we have made great progress in this week.
Today we continue to discuss the topic, and we also shared more things for our companions to get inspiration. I find that many of our fears come from bad memories and what happens when we grow up. The fear that I met in the process of growing up was clearly in mind, as my fear of spiders came from when I was very young, and there was a huge spider in my house, that was the biggest insect I saw at the time, and it had eight legs, and I was terrified, and even now I will jump up when I see a very small spider. At that time, we didn't discuss the result, at last, so we decided to play an improvised game called Freeze. When we play this game, we find that if people are in a state of fear, they usually choose to escape or scream with some trembling, and I think it is a good revelation to our group.
On the last day of the week, two of us did not come, so we adjusted our plan, we decided to find some books that were helpful to us, how to find the new idea; we looked up some of the improvised plays and made some preparations for the next week. Today we have discussed some rules that we have to follow when we start create our piece of Theatre. Since we have a very large group, so we have to make some agreements with the whole group and people should follow them, and it will help us to work with each other.
1 We agree that we respect ourselves and each other, as artists and as people, and to support the work and creativity of one another. 2 We agree to give and receive criticisms professionally and impersonally, discuss changes in a way that is respectful and encourages critical thinking. 3 We agree not to say "No" for five minutes, meaning we agree to consider anything for five minutes. 4 We agree that we cannot do it alone. We agree that we need each other. We agree to keep a balanced and equal work and effort. 5 We agree to advocate for ourselves and each other whenever possible. We were divided into two groups from a large group, with two other senior and two junior in my group, and we had only three actors in this group because of the requirements of the IB drama. Together, we discussed the theme of our collective thinking. From Andy's last shared item, there was a book about fear. Our group feels that we can start thinking from fear. We began to share our experiences and what we are afraid of, such as water, pressure, murderers and violence. I'm a fearful person in the dark. When I'm in a dark place, I will fantasize about ghosts or strange things around me, so every night I need to open a light to see what my room looks like; but it's strange that if someone sleeps around me, I can do it. Sleep with no lights. I especially like our theme of concentrating thinking, because for me, this theme has great sense of substitution. We have discussed that we want to personification fear, and an actor can play the role of fear; my team hopes to use this piece of performance to let the audience do not have so much pressure on fear.
